Born and raised in Naples, Italy, Mario & Francesco Bosfa moved to New York City in 2014, with a dream of creating a bright and prosperous future for themselves and their family. In July 2020, after six years of dedication and commitment to that dream, they opened Bosfa Italian Restaurant in Old Tappan, New Jersey.
Mario Bosfa is the discerning chef and food lover at the heart of the Bosfa kitchen. Mario has developed and refined his skills throughout his culinary journey, and loves sharing his Neapolitan inspired cuisine with the local community here in New Jersey. Always in search of that ubiquitous combination of flavors that create an unforgettable dish, he takes pride in using the freshest ingredients and crafting the most delicious Italian plates.
Francesco Bosfa, the dynamic personality leading the Bosfa service team, envisions the guest experience at Bosfa Italian Restaurant as a continually flowing conversation. Francesco’s hospitality journey in New York City brought the freedom to explore diverse cultural environments while nurturing his own leadership skills. Driven by his love of connecting with people and his passion for Italian culture, Francesco is always ready to delight guests with stories of Italy, his latest innovations, & plenty of laughter & smiles!
